Arka is a custom packaging and box manufacturer committed to sustainable, eco-friendly solutions. They use FSC-certified materials to ensure responsible sourcing and minimal environmental impact. Their packages combine aesthetic appeal, functional design, and ethical practices.This way, the company helps brands deliver their products in standout packaging while supporting a healthier planet.
Goal
After a challenging site migration caused technical issues that impacted organic visibility, Arka’s main objective was to diagnose and resolve those problems. They aimed to implement a data-driven SEO strategy to restore and surpass pre-migration search rankings. The final goal was to increase organic traffic and overall online sales.
Solutions
Our first step was to conduct a full technical SEO audit following Arka’s migration to Shopify. This involved identifying and resolving various issues - from URL structures and redirects to indexing, metadata, and site speed optimizations.
We continue performing weekly and monthly audits to maintain optimal site health and quickly fix any technical issues that come up.
On-Site Strategy and Product Page Optimization
After fixing all the high-priority technical issues, we developed an on-site SEO strategy focused on Arka’s core offerings: custom shipping boxes, custom mailer boxes, and related product variations.
We performed detailed keyword research to identify and target “money keywords” with strong purchase intent. Then, we optimized the product and collection pages by refining URLs, updating the metadata, image alt texts and improving headings. Apart from that, we also focused on creating informative, conversion-focused content. With designers’ help, we also created custom images for the products. This approach helped us to increase the relevance for high-value search terms and improved the overall user experience.
Silo Content Strategy: Packaging 101 Guide
To further strengthen the site’s authority and cover all aspects of Arka’s niche, we created a detailed silo of informative content known as the “Packaging 101 Guide.” This guide includes approximately 143 pages/topics on packaging design, materials, types, printing, and shipping. Each article is interconnected through internal linking, a valuable user resource, and a strong internal link structure supporting product-focused pages.
The silo acts as a hub of authoritative, educational content, increasing organic traffic and providing linkable assets for future link-building campaigns.
Internal Linking and Visual Enhancements
We implemented a smart internal linking strategy to guide users from the main “Packaging 101 Guide” articles to related product and collection pages (as well as created a separate internal linking section for all the informative pages).The goal was to make sure the link equity was effectively distributed among the articles. We collaborated with designers to ensure a visually engaging experience and used AI-generated images to create custom visuals. These unique images support product and informational content, making the site more appealing to users and showing its expertise in the field
Link Building and Authority Growth
Our link-building initiatives focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant, industry-focused websites. We secured 596 new backlinks through these targeted efforts with an average Domain Rating (DR) of 51. This improvement contributed to boosting Arka’s overall authority.
Results
Our combined approach included resolving technical issues, targeting important purchase-intent keywords, optimizing key product pages, creating a strong informational silo, and refining internal linking. It helped Arka regain and surpass its pre-migration rankings, drive significant organic traffic growth, and increase visibility in the competitive U.S. market.
To maintain and build upon these gains, we regularly conduct technical audits, track keyword performance, adjust on-site content, and explore opportunities for additional improvements as the brand evolves.
Initially, Arka’s website averaged around 1,243 organic visits per month. Following the implementation of technical SEO improvements, strategic keyword targeting, on-site optimization, and the development of a content silo, we began to see steady growth within just a few months. Over time, these efforts advanced Arka’s online visibility, pushing the monthly organic traffic to over 16,153 visits - an increase of approximately 1,200%.
Initially, Arka ranked for approximately 137 keywords within the top 10 positions. Now, over 2,600 keywords rank in the top 10, showing a big increase in the brand's search presence and importance for its key terms.

As a result, Arka’s Domain Rating grew from 62 to 67, showing an 8% increase and improving its credibility. The stronger backlink profile works great with our detailed internal linking strategy.
