Project Overview
Forbrain is a headset that helps improve focus, speech, memory, and learning. It’s especially helpful for people with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or other learning challenges, as well as students and professionals who want to focus better. It uses sound and vibrations to train your brain to process information more efficiently, making learning and communication easier for everyone.
Goal
The goal of the campaign was to promote Forbrain and raise awareness so more people would buy the product. However, this came with a challenge - Forbrain isn’t just a regular headset you use. It’s an innovative device that uses bone conduction technology and sound vibrations to improve focus, learning, and speech. Since people didn’t know such a device existed, they weren’t actively searching for it. To overcome this, we focused on targeting the right groups in creative and strategic ways: kids and individuals with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and people looking for speech therapy.
Solutions
Content SEO Strategy: Building Topical Clusters Per Audience Type
To attract targeted traffic and set up Forbrain as a trusted resource, we developed comprehensive topical clusters (silos) around the following key areas:
- Speech Therapy for Kids
- ADHD & Learning
- Autism & Learning
- Dyslexia in Children
We created each cluster with a main parent article and several detailed child articles that covered related topics.
Our strategy also included creating phonetic/semantic word lists for speech therapy, such as S-words and multiple-meaning words, which are keywords with high search volumes.
This way, we could talk directly to Forbrain’s target audience and bring in traffic that matched their needs.
Targeted Engagement Banners
We aimed to inform visitors who came to the website through articles on Speech Therapy, ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia about Forbrain using a Targeted Engagement Banner Strategy. These banners were placed directly on the silo pages and included:
This strategy directly contributed to sales by converting engaged visitors into customers.
Internal Linking
We created an Internal Linking Strategy to improve navigation and help both visitors and search engines understand the relationship between our content. Articles within each silo (like Speech Therapy, ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia) were linked to each other. Parent articles connected to their child articles, and child articles linked back to the parent, creating a clear structure.
Link Building
We used several link building strategies to build high-quality backlinks to Forbrain’s website. Our focus was on finding highly relevant blogs, including health-related and educational blogs, as well as mom blogs (since Forbrain is often used for kids).
We also prioritized websites specializing in conditions like ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. These strategies helped us secure backlinks from strong, authoritative domains.
Results
When the project began in May 2023, the website had 374 monthly organic visitors. By December 2024, this number grew to 24,110 monthly visitors, representing an increase of 6,347%.
The number of keywords in the top 10 positions increased from 7 to 1,824 during the same time frame, reflecting a growth of 25,957%.
The Domain Rating increased from 60 to 62 during the same time frame, reflecting a growth of 3%.
Currently, Forbrain ranks in the Top 3 and Top 10 results for the vast majority of the keywords the silo articles target. See the comparison with the 2023 performance below for a few of the target keywords.
