Olofly is an online retailer specializing in vape products, cannabis derivatives, and related accessories. They offer a wide selection of items, including disposable vapes, cartridges, and pods with compounds like Delta-8, Delta-9, and Delta-10 THC, HHC, and live resin. The store also features CBD products, THC-infused gummies, and magic mushroom edibles such as Amanita Muscaria mushroom gummies.
Goal
Olofly primarily uses SEO as its core marketing strategy. The website focuses on growing organically by targeting keywords relevant to its product range, such as vape products, Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC, CBD, and magic mushroom edibles. Their goal is to increase online visibility and drive sales through improved search engine rankings.
Solutions
Collection and Brand Pages Optimization
Our primary focus was on edibles, including gummies, mushroom chocolates, and other trending product categories. To increase the performance, we conducted detailed keyword and content research for every brand and collection, being sure each page was fully optimized for search engines and user engagement. For some products, we created dedicated landing pages featuring eye-catching visuals, customer testimonials, and helpful content to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
We also analyzed all product types to determine the most effective way to structure collections, aiming to target descriptive long-tail keywords.
Additionally, we refined key on-page elements such as meta titles, descriptions, headings, and content to maximize the reach and engagement of these core collections.
Internal Linking Structure and Website Navigation
We analyzed the connection between collection and brand pages and created an internal linking strategy accordingly. With optimized anchor texts, we distributed link equity and made it easier for users and Google bots to access important pages.
To improve user experience, we updated the website's mega menu to feature all collections prominently. This restructuring improved navigation, helping users locate their desired products more efficiently.
Additionally, we revamped product cards to be more user-friendly and SEO-optimized. Each card now includes clickable tags and brand links, reinforcing internal linking while guiding users to related products seamlessly.
Ongoing Technical Audits
We conducted a comprehensive technical SEO audit, identifying and resolving issues such as duplicate content, incorrect canonical tags, and noindex directives. Schema markup was also refined to enhance search engine visibility.
High-Quality Backlinks
To strengthen Olofly's authority, we implemented different link-building strategies to acquire backlinks from niche-specific websites within the headshop and wellness industries. This effort secured 155 backlinks with an average Domain Rating (DR) of 51, boosting Olofly's credibility and SEO performance. As a result, the site’s domain rating improved from 16 to 51.
Results
We created targeted landing pages, introduced new collections to capture long-tail keywords, and improved internal linking to strengthen page authority. These efforts, along with detailed on-page optimization, led to a 2010% increase in organic traffic, growing from 2069 to 45731 monthly visits.
We saw a 1273% increase in the ranking of keywords in the top 10. The count went up from 483 to 6634, demonstrating the positive impact of our optimization strategies.
In 17 months, the website’s Domain Rating (DR) went up from 15 to 51, a 218% increase. This growth happened thanks to 155 high-quality backlinks from relevant websites, which boosted the site’s authority and trust.
