Grow Curriculum is an innovative educational platform that empowers educators with comprehensive resources to enhance learning experiences for students of all ages: kids, youth, and adults. The company has rapidly emerged as a leading provider of curriculum solutions, catering to a diverse range of dynamic, engaging, and customizable curriculum resources.
Goal
The main goal was to establish themselves as leaders in the niche and significantly increase their organic website traffic. Additionally, we needed to create a comprehensive resource that explored various games suitable for youth activities because there was a gap for such a resource in the niche of youth group activities.
Solutions
Silo Content Strategy
Existing competitors offered only cursory overviews with limited information on each game. Market research revealed that the keyword "youth group games" had a substantial volume of 7,500 searches monthly, which indicates a significant demand for such content.
Recognizing the opportunity, we created a comprehensive resource dedicated to youth group games to provide in-depth information for each featured game. To achieve this, we used a strategic silo structure with a parent page offering an overview and individual child pages dedicated to each game. This approach ensured a systematic content organization, allowing easy navigation and access to detailed information on specific games.
Informative Blog Articles
To enhance Grow Curriculum's online presence and reach, we created a series of targeted blog posts focusing on various aspects of ministry, including practical guides, online transitions, specific ministry areas, leadership skills, event planning, and generational insights.
These articles provide valuable advice, comprehensive guides, and practical tips for educators, leaders, and church members, positioning Grow Curriculum as a knowledgeable resource. Each post is optimized for targeted keywords, improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
Landing Page Optimization
Ongoing Technical Audits and Fixes
We conducted a comprehensive technical SEO audit followed by regular monthly technical audits of the website. We compiled an action list of identified issues and implemented necessary fixes to enhance the site’s technical performance and ensure optimal functionality.
High-Quality Backlinks
To boost the visibility and authority of our resource, we employed various link-building tactics to secure 180 high-quality backlinks from niche-relevant, reputable sources. These backlinks from trusted and authoritative domains enhanced the credibility of our content and the entire website.
Results
At the beginning of the project (August 2021), the website's monthly organic traffic was 3,334. Through our targeted SEO initiatives, this traffic increased to 14,367 (as of July 2023), representing a significant growth of 331% in traffic volume.
Before our SEO efforts, only 208 keywords ranked in the top 10 positions on search engine results pages. After implementing our strategies, this number increased dramatically to 1,048 keywords. This substantial growth of 404% in keyword visibility highlights the effectiveness of our targeted SEO initiatives in improving search engine rankings and expanding our reach.
Throughout the project, we successfully secured 180 new backlinks from highly reputable sources with an average Domain Rating (DR) of 42. These strategically acquired backlinks significantly enhanced our website's authority and credibility.
